1. Yusuf Pathan and Rohit Sharma are the only players to have won IPL for 3 or more times.
KKR’s big hitter batsman Yusuf Pathan and current Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma both have something up their sleeves a feat shared by both that no one other has. This must be very proud for them to have won the prestigious title a massive three times at two different franchises. Yusuf Pathan played a very keen role in Rajasthan Royals title winning in the inaugural edition of the IPL.

Star India agreed to pay to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Rs16,347.5 crore for five years for the global media rights—both digital and television, of the league, making IPL the richest Asian league and one of the richest in all the world.
3. Ben Stokes has become the most expensive overseas player in the history of IPL.
The brilliant all-rounder of England Benjamin Stokes became the most expensive foreign player in the history of IPL when he was sold for a mind-boggling amount of 14.5 crores to Rising Pune Supergiants in 2017 and now again for a little less amount of 12.5 crores to the Rajasthan Royals. 8. Dale “SUPER” Steyn
No. 1 fast bowler in the world, the South African pace monster Dale Steyn has one of the best records in the history of IPL. In 2013, Dale Steyn bowled 212 dot balls, highest by any bowler. In total, he bowled 407 balls in that season, more than 50% dot balls. Incredible, isn’t he?
9. Suresh Raina’s missed only one match in IPL so far.
The Indian run machine Suresh Raina has missed just one match in IPL history so far; the match was against Royal Challengers Bangalore and he was with Gujarat Lions team in IPL 2016. He has played 161 matches in IPL so far; playing 132 matches for CSK and 29 matches for GL. Suresh Raina’s name should be included in a CSK facts book.
10. Pollard and DeVilliers unique record

Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the only bowler to win back to back purple caps for most wickets in an IPL season. In IPL 2016, he managed to get 23 wickets and 26 wickets in IPL 2017, both for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
12. Sachin and Virat, the only Indians to win the MVP award in IPL history.
The Legend Sachin Tendulkar (2010- Mumbai Indians) and Indian skipper Virat Kohli (2016- Royal Challengers Bangalore) are the only two Indian players to win the Most Valuable Player award in Indian Premier League history. The bond of friendship is strongest between these two. Manish Pandey and Robin Uthappa have played in 4 teams, but they have always been together on the same side. They have played together for MI in 2008, for RCB in 2009 and 2010, for PWI from 2011 to 2013 and for KKR since 2014.
15. Ashok Dinda the bad luck of IPL

Late,r he came in as a replacement for fast bowler Dirk Nannes in the Royal Challengers Bangalore team and set the tournament on fire and became every bowler’s nightmare with his Total KO performances. He scored over 600 runs in 2011 and backed that up with over 700 scores in 2012 and 2013 to stamp his name in the IPL history forever.
17. Harbhajan Singh and Virat Kohli- 10 editions, same franchise
Star batsman Virat Kohli and the terminator Harbhajan Singh shares a unique feat together. They are the only players to be a part of the same franchise throughout their journey in IPL. After the suspension of Chennai Super Kings, Dhoni, Raina joined other teams, so Harbhajan and Kohli remain the only players who have represented the same franchise throughout these 10 seasons.
18. The high and low for the Kolkata Knight Riders
Kolkata Knight Riders has been one of the most successful team in IPL history winning the IPL title for a massive two times. But they have 2 interesting records.
Knight Riders still holds the record for a win by the most number of runs in the tournament. They defeated RCB by 140 runs in the opening match of the very first season of the IPL and made a grand entry in the IPL record book.
However, they also have a record that they would like to forget. KKR holds a record of being defeated with the most number of balls remaining in the second innings. It too happened in the 2008 edition when they were humiliated by Mumbai Indians. KKR bowled out for a humiliating 67 and Mumbai chased that down in 5.3 overs adding more to KKR’s sorrows.

What’s more shocking is the fact that there is a difference of more than 80 sixes between him and the second-placed Suresh Raina. He has scored above 50 sixes in a season twice in 2012 and 2013 and is the only player to do so.

The legendary former Australian batsman (and wicket-keeper) Adam Gilchrist has the best bowling figures in IPL. In his last match, he bowled just one ball and took the wicket of Harbhajan Singh.
